Guard Play Pushes Lancaster Past Kimball

Lancaster and Kimball are two of the most historic programs in Dallas. They squared off last night in a heavily anticipated matchup that didn't live up to the hype. Lancaster came out hot and led Kimball 28-13 after the first quarter and never looked back. Lancaster won the game 84-60. Mike Miles and Wade Taylor IV combined to score 51 points for Lancaster and Cobe Williams finished with 27 points for Kimball.

Wade Taylor IV got the party started early for Lancaster. He came out guns blazing finishing the first quarter with 13 points. He was aggressive attacking the basket and was dialed in from three. He hit some deep ones early. Wade finished with a game high 28 points and also had 4 rebounds and 3 assists.




Mike Miles had it rolling for Lancaster last night. He got teammates the ball, rebounded and was still able to score efficiently. Mike is attacking the basket more and living at the free throw line. He controlled the tempo last night and finished with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. 


Cobe Williams' team may have lost this one but his play amazing. His team got down early and he went in to attack mode trying to will his team back in it. The 6'0 PG and recent Louisiana Tech signee scored from all three levels in this one and got his teammates involved. His ability to shoot it last night made him tough to guard with his blazing speed. He finished with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
