Rivals 150 Mansfield Timberview/ YGC36 guard Isaac Likekele  just finished up the last of his three official visits this past weekend. Likekele discussed how each visit went and what stood out about each head coach:


UTEP: How was your visit to UTEP and how was your conversation with Coach Terry?

Likekele: "The UTEP visit went really well, I enjoyed it and enjoyed seeing the local fans and facilities. My relationship with coach RT (UTEP Head Coach Rodney Terry) is very strong and I like that a lot, that's been my guy for the longest."

Texas Tech: How was your visit to Texas Tech and how was your conversation with Coach Beard?

Likekele: "Texas Tech was a great visit as well. I was able to get in the gym and watch some action happen on the court and got a chance to play with the guys myself. It was a lot of fun. What stands out about Coach Beard (Texas Tech Head Coach) is he seems like he can really bring out the untapped potential inside of me."

Oklahoma State: How was your visit to Oklahoma State and how was your conversation with Coach Boynton?

Likekele: "Oklahoma State was another really good visit, I really enjoyed the location and how everything close is a plus. What I like about Coach Boynton (Oklahoma State Head Coach Mike Boynton) is he's the same type of guy I am, he was doubted by everyone when he got the job, had a great year and proved them wrong. That's basically the same mindset I'm taking to college with me.

Likekele is a very versatile guard prospect who fills the stat sheet. He does whatever it takes for his team to win games. Things have been moving fast for him since reopening his recruitment this spring. He is really focused on making the right decision as he understands how important it is. While there is no timetable for his commitment, we expect for him to announce soon.
