Memorial Day GASO Players to watch

The Memorial Day GASO always gives us a chance to see some of the better local teams and prospects compete against each other, this weekend is no different. The GASO is providing us with some big time game and player matchups. Here are a few players to watch this weekend.

2019 Red Oak/ Urban DFW 6'2 G Marcus Sasser: Sasser is from a long line of big time basketball players in DFW, he looks to be the latest addition to the Sasser legacy. Sasser is one of the best scorers in the city and has been posting crazy scoring numbers ALL spring. I expect that to continue all weekend from the 6'2 guard.

2019 Red Oak/ Texas Impact 6'6 Wing Josh Miller: Miller is a big time slashing wing who can really shoot it. He's picked up several offers this spring.

2019 Trinity Christian/ Dallas Mustangs 6'3 G Isaiah Range: Range is a high flying wing who can really get into the paint. He's a good defender who uses his length and athleticism to cause fits for his opponents.

2019 Prosper/ Lone Star Elite 6'3 G Josh Davis: Davis has nice size at the guard spot. He plays with pace and a high IQ. Shoots the ball well from the three point line.

2019 Allen/ Team Faith 5'11 G Isaiah Stevens: Stevens had one of the best spring evaluation periods of any guard in the city. He has picked up several offers and is one of the leading assist men on the Adidas Gauntlet.

2019 Kennedale/ Showtyme 6'4 F Tre Jones: Tre is one of the best athletes in the city. The strong built Jones is a versatile player who possesses eye popping athleticism around the rim.

2019 Conrad/ Showtyme White 5'9 PG Ezekiel Fields: Fields is a dynamic playmaking guard who can really score. Tough kid who really leads his team.

2019 North Mesquite/ Dallas Mustangs 6'0 G Jerry Carraway: Carraway is a big time scorer who can get hot from behind the arc quickly. He defends well and has a solid handle.

2020 Bowie/ Drive Nation 6'7 G Cade Cunningham: Cade is one of the top players in the country. He scores, facilitates, defends and runs the offense for his Drive Nation 16U team.

2020 Flower Mound/ BMM 6'8 F Caleb Lohner: Lohner is a big time wing scorer who can really shoot it and clean up the glass. Lohner is a top 40 player in the country who competes hard every time out.

2020 Coppell/ BMM 6'8 F Quevian Adger: Adger is a long wing who canĀ  score off of strong drives and a nice jump shout out to the three point arc. His development this spring has been tremendous.

2020 Lakeview Centennial/ Lone Star Elite 6'8 F Donte Houston: Donte is one of the fastest rising prospects in the city. His athleticism, motor and soft touch around the basket and as a shooter makes him a big time prospect.

2020 Arlington Martin/ Drive Nation 6'9 C Montreal Pena: Pena may have the most upside of any prospect in 2020. He is long, active and runs the floor like a gazelle. He is a good shot blocker and will finish above the rim off of lobs.

2021 Desoto/ Urban DFW 6'7 F Duncan Powell: Duncan has done very well playing 17U this spring. He is a physical specimen that can really get it done inside and out. Ultra competitor who is as tough as they come.

2021 St. Mark's/ YGC36 6'7 F Harrison Ingram: Ingram is a big time shooter with a strong body that allows him to bang for rebounds and finish around the rim. The future is very bright for this kid. he already holds an offer from Texas A&M.

2021 Lancaster/ Urban DFW 6'0 PG Wade Taylor III: Taylor has been huge playing 17U for Urban this spring. He's facilitated, scored and defended at a high level. Taylor has offers from Florida State and Texas A&M.

2021 Wylie/ BMM 5'10 G Elijah Taylor: Elijah has done an excellent job running the offense for BMM 17's this spring. He is a quick guard who sees the open man and is a terrific defender.

2021 Plano West/ Lone Star Elite 6'6 Wing Christian Green: Green is a long, active wing who can defend, pass and finish above the rim in transition. He's done a good job playing 17's this spring and making his presence felt all over the floor.
